The “Leveraging AI to Enhance Productivity” workshop held at ULRIKA Guest House, Kisubi, was organized by the Social Communications Commission of the Uganda Episcopal Conference. It brought together Bishop Franzelli and the heads of Catholic media institutions to explore how artificial intelligence can support and transform communication work. The gathering focused on practical ways AI can streamline workflows, improve efficiency in media production, and strengthen the Church’s mission in the digital age. By engaging social communicators directly, the workshop emphasized both the opportunities and responsibilities of using AI tools to enhance productivity while remaining faithful to the values of Catholic communication.
The “Strengthening Catholic Media through Networking and Collaboration” workshop, held in 2025 at St. Augustine, Nsambya, was led by Rt. Rev. Robert Muhiirwa. It gathered Catholic media leaders and practitioners to reflect on the importance of building stronger networks, fostering collaboration, and enhancing the collective impact of Church communication. The workshop emphasized unity among institutions, resource sharing, and leveraging partnerships to advance the mission of Catholic media in Uganda and beyond.
