SIGNIS World Congress The SIGNIS World Congress is a quadrennial global event for Catholic media professionals to connect, share experiences, and discuss the future of media, guided by the mission to transform cultures with the Gospel's values of dignity, justice, and reconciliation. The first SIGNIS Congress was held in Rome in 2001, marking the formal beginning of the new organization. The Congresses have since been held in various global locations, including Rome (2005), Chiang Mai (2009), Rome (2014), Québec (2017), and Seoul (2022).
